My Story & My Team
My name is Kristine, and I am the owner and founder of One Love Legacy Recovery Homes.
My early adult life was marked by addiction and trauma. By the grace of God, it is now renewed through recovery, forgiveness, and love. From my early days as a single mom, to finding my soulmate, having 2 more children, and all of life's curve balls, recovery has always been a prominent force in my life. My heart has always been to uplift and encourage women who are trying to find their way. I am blessed that I have been given the tools to create a safe environment for women to recover.
It definitely takes a village and these are just a few people in mine. My husband of 18 years, Mike, has been by my side through so much. He sees things I can't and helps me focus. He's also my handyman and does just about anything. My parents who have always believed in me. My mom is my rock-star and my biggest cheerleader. I would not be here without her devotion and secretary skills.
Lastly, there aren't enough words to express my love for my four amazing children. They are the joys of my life.
People come into your life and a beautiful journey of friendship begins. They believe in you, believe in your dreams, and can help you breathe life into a vision. Sometimes they push and pull to get you where you need to be and I am so grateful for them. For me, those friends are my house manager, Sheri, and investor, Erin. I'm so thankful for them.
Most importantly, I do this in honor of my little brother, my Superman, Kevin. He's in heaven now, but I am honored that his legacy will continue through me and this recovery home.
